The Research Design Service North West is providing a programme to support people applying to the Research for Patient Benefit (RfPB) programme for research funding.

For those planning to submit an RfPB proposal for competition 23, which has a final submission deadline in January 2014, we will provide a facilitated support programme for applicants involving three half-day meetings, individual one-to-one advice, and referral to experts where needed. The aim is to maximise your chances of success in securing RfPB funding, and to ensure your project is robust, well designed and properly

  • The programme is open to researchers in all NHS organisations and universities across the North West.
  • There is no charge for the programme.
  • It is a requirement that participants commit to taking part in all three meetings, and to working on their RfPB grant proposal between meetings.
