This is a joint NIHR Research Design Service North West, NIHR Greater Manchester Clinical Research Network and NIHR Clinical Research Network North West Coast online event.

Who is this event for?

If you are a social care researcher, manager, practitioner or voluntary organisation wanting to find out more about social care research we strongly encourage you to attend this session. This event will also be of interest to charities and third sector organisations.

About this event

The aim of this online event is to showcase how a successful social care researcher started their research career.

The event will highlight the support available from the Research Design Service North West, to help you develop your research ideas into compelling funding applications, and how the NIHR Clinical Research Network can help you optimise delivery of your research.

A questions and answer session will provide an opportunity for you to ask questions and help us to identify any barriers and challenges you face in undertaking social care research. This will begin to identify how working collaboratively we can overcome these and build a vibrant social care research community to help improve care and services.
