i4i Future Product Development Funding.
i4i Future Product Development Funding provides funds and support to enable ideas for new healthcare products to progress from post basic research to pre large scale clinical trials or health technology assessments.
The essential feature of i4i Future Product Development funding streams is that there must be a product in view from the start. The evidence that the idea can be turned into a successful product should mount during the course of the funding, such that the risk that the i4i Programme is taking reduces. N.B. i4i does not fund basic research.
