The National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) funds the Research Design Service (RDS) to provide design and methodological support to health and social care researchers across England to develop grant applications to the NIHR and other national peer-reviewed funding programmes. RDS advisers in bases across England offer a unique breadth of experience and a proven track record in improving research applications. Advice is confidential and free of charge.
The NIHR Research Design Service has been replaced by the new NIHR Research Support Service. If you are not an existing RDS client and would like support on your research project, please visit the NIHR Research Support Service to find out more.
RDSresources
The Research Design Service (RDS) produces many online resources that aim to support and help Applied Health, Social Care and Public Health researchers apply for research funding. The RDSresources website has been created to provide a central location for these useful resources.
