Health Services and Delivery Research (HS&DR) and Public Health Research (PHR) seminar
21 Mar 2014
G306A&B Jean McFarlane
This seminar, organised by the Research Design Service North West (RDS NW), is to highlight national funding opportunities for applied health and social care research. We aim to give researchers an insight into funding priorities, application processes and future plans, and an opportunity for dialogue with funding programmes and successful grant holders.
About the HS&DR and PHR programmes
The main focus of the HS&DR programme is to produce rigorous and relevant evidence to improve the quality, accessibility and organisation of health services.
The PHR programme funds high quality research to evaluate non-NHS interventions intended to improve the health of the public and reduce inequalities in health. PHR research supports a wide audience concerned with improving public health and reducing health inequalities.
About the Research Design Service (RDS)
The RDS is funded by the NIHR and supports research teams to develop and submit high quality applied health and social care grant applications to NIHR and other national peer-reviewed funding programmes.
