RDFunding
RDFunding is part of the RDInfo service, which is a service funded by the National Institute for Health Research. It provides access's to health-related funding opportunities.
You can search an extensive up to date database of funding opportunities and also sign up for targeted regular e-mail bulletins concerning research funding in the areas of your choice.
NIHR Funding Programmes
The National Institute for Health Research Research for Patient Benefit (RfPB) Programme.
The RfPB Programme is a nationally co-ordinated funding stream for regionally commissioned research. There is a North West Committee to commission local health service research in the North West, details of members of that group can be found...more detail.

NIHR HSR / INVOLVE joint funding call: Public involvement in research
This is a joint funding call about public involvement in research funded by the NIHR through INVOLVE and delivered by the NIHR HSR programme. The three key aims of this call are to collect evidence on:
- Impact: to increase knowledge and understanding of the impact of public involvement in research
- Evaluation: to identify methods of evaluating public involvement in research
- Implementation: to identify effective ways of involving the public in research
We anticipate funding a range of studies in both size and duration using different approaches and within a variety of areas of NHS, public health and social care research. Applicants are asked to submit an outline for the above call by 1pm on Thursday 6 May 2010. Click below to find out more about this funding opportunity.
