The RDS will advise NHS researchers, and others working in partnership with the NHS, developing an application to a suitable funding body.

Priority is given to NHS researchers applying to the NIHR Research for Patient Benefit (RfPB) funding scheme.

Advice will be offered for other NIHR funding schemes and non-NIHR funding schemes as long as the application process is peer reviewed and benefits the NHS.

We can only provide advice to researchers located in the North West. There are 10 regional RDS services. The RDS service appropriate to your region will be able to advise you. Please click here for details on the other regional RDSs.
